Sustainable Energy Quality Engineer - Northern CapeJob title: Sustainable Energy Quality EngineerLocation: Northern Cape, South Africa (On-site)Our client is a global IPP who is passionate about reducing the carbon footprint of industry on a global scale & transitioning to cleaner energy by offering innovative solutions to get to a carbon net zero world.ResponsibilitiesBuild partnerships with key stakeholders and contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ensuring safety and quality assurance on project sites.Conduct site audits, safety checks, and risk assessments to determine suitable locations for solar PV installations.Additionally, develop project management plans, oversee contractors' works, and lead procurement negotiations.Evaluate project progress, technical viability, and costs to ensure compliance with governance limits.Oversee installation processes, including lightning protection systems, and review computer simulations and test results.In addition, develop staff through capability development and recommend training activities.Furthermore, collaborate with authorities and professional engineers to facilitate project-related approvals.Skills/QualificationsUniversity Degree in Civil or Electrical EngineeringISO 9001 Quality Management System certification5-7 years experience in wind/solar energy projects/power plants as a Civil/Quality EngineerStrong track record in construction and site management within Electrical and InstrumentationComprehensive experience in Construction and Site ManagementResults-driven and collaborative, able to achieve outcomes individually and with diverse teamsAdditionally, work effective in cross-cultural, multidisciplinary collaborationCollaborative approach across departments for optimal company resultsFurthermore, demonstrate ownership, strategic thinking, and high ethical standardsMotivational leadership of teams and individuals with respect for diversityInformation seeking, organization, and exchange for decision-making and problem-solvingFosters open communication on personal and professional matters.Furthermore, have autonomy in work, prioritizing tasks aligned with business objectives.Quality and Environment awareness, managing according to standards and procedures.Innovative, visionary, creative, proactive in decision-making and problem-solvingIn addition, a proactive approach to planning and decision-makingLastly, building effective relationships with key stakeholders.In conclusion, be part of an organisation to drive the renewable energy revolution and contribute to a sustainable future.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and interest in the role to Charles Matthews (charles@greenrecruitmentcompany.com)#J-18808-LjbffrReport job
