SVP Production Pharmacist -Port ElizabethFull job descriptionFresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company more than 40,500 employees worldwide.We are dedicated to a higher purpose "caring for life" which drives excellence in everything we do.The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals.The purpose is to co-ordinate the total Small Volume Parenteral filling production operation from a pharmaceutical perspective.Ensure that you are conversant with daily production program.Identifies and addresses daily pharmaceutical problems.Reports / liaises daily with the Department Manager on the pharmaceutical (production) situation.Performs department pharmacy duties.Assist the Supervisors to ensure that all staff is properly trained for their job.Writes, reviews up-dates department Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.To support production department in ensuring that the daily production program and targets are met.Responsible for the department compliance with factory rules and regulations.Responsible for the maintenance of Good Manufacturing Practices Standards within the department.Responsible for the accurate completion and reconciliation of departmental batch book documents. Reviewing and auditing thereof.Assist the Department Manager with the logging and close out of Deviations, CAPAs audit findings etc.Responsible for the implementation of change controls.Responsible to perform investigations in the area of responsibility, with the support of the tool KabitrackEnsure that batch release targets are met by addressing any query or return from the release departmentLog change controls for updating or changing batch records for optimization as well as processesTake risk-based decisions with Process Leader on shiftWill be required to stand in for Supervisors in the event of training or absenteeism etc.Supervision and training of pharmaceutical staff.From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbentResponsible to conduct investigations and root cause analysis through Kabitrack B Pharm Tertiary qualification. Registered Pharmacist with South African Pharmacy Council.4-5 years Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.Production management skillsSpecific small volume Parenteral process technical skillsHuman resources / industrial relations skillsN.O.S.A and MOSACT awareness
