MonthlyCape Town | On-siteYou are an inspiring, empowering, and results-orientated Switchboard Operator with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding goals.You will ensure thesmooth running of the shift, ensure all tasks are completed by the agreed deadline, ensure that all incoming calls are directed to the correct extensions/departments, and assist guests with all outgoing calls.Part of your role will be to ensure emergency procedures are adhered to and that the instructions given by the Evacuation Wardens are followed. You will handle all guests' parcels/couriers, ensure they are charged correctly and dispatched, and assist with booking restaurants and day tours.You have a hospitality qualification with experience in a 4 or 5-star establishment and experience with a busy switchboard. You're skilled in a Front Office system, Opera and Fidelio. You are a team player and work well under pressure with strong administration and numeracy skills.In joining our team, you'll bring your excellent communication skills with a proficiency in English that makes your voice pleasant, clear over the telephone, and genuinely engaging.
