Purpose of the jobTo ensure E-commerce systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users.Key ResponsibilitiesProject delivery with focus on initiatives to help PEP implement an end to end ecommerce solutionUnderstand and draft the ask of the BRD and translate to Functional Requirements Document (FRD), engage and facilitate questions with business owners to resolve, to get to FRDReceive and suggest System Improvement (SI)/Project from the Business and gather business requirements from Users (business owners) / Business requirements and needs will be facilitatedDiscusses specifications with PIT or 3xe2x80x99rd party in order to ensure correct understanding of business needProvide a Support service to the business to assist with any system queries/problem (technical and non-technical)Training /Knowledge acquisition and transfer within the team and businessAd Hoc queries and tasksRequired Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesA Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Information SystemsYears experience in a similar role 3 + yearsExperience with online shopping solutions (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), payment gateway (PeachPayment, PayU), ERP Solutions, logistics of e-comm, online, VAS services , dark store setup will beadvantageousExperience working in a Test Driven EnvironmentSQL, JIRAGoogle Cloud PlatformIntegration languagesAnalytics, Qlikview, PowerBI, LookerApply agile or waterfall methodology to take a BRD to a FRD levelProject exposure to implement and design solution in businessFacilitate training sessions/presentationsAbove average computer literacy - MS Office & MS ProjectProject management skillsPresentation and facilitation skillsHands on experience with software development and documentationAble to explain technical detailsSolid information of business systemsAble to take responsibility and be self motivatedAble to develop ideas and share them clearly (in non-technical terms when required)Able to explain solution trade-offs (in non-technical terms when required)Able to work within a teamAnalytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.Will respond in a supportive, patient and friendly / approachable manner (passionate)Can support more than one process business in a system or one process over more than 1 systemBe able to configure on application back end or front end (not develop)A curious self-starter who takes initiative, investigates problems, see possibilities and takes actionAbove average computer literacy - MS office SuiteCompetencies: Performing under pressure, Listening skills, Service oriented, Initiative, Innovating, Helicopter view.If you do not hear from us within 4 weeks of the closing date of this position, please regard your application as being unsuccessful.PEP strives for equal opportunity in terms of its employment equity guidelines.
