While each solution has its own distinct purpose, they all share the world-class quality and commitment that have come to distinguish Glacier.What will you do?Job PurposeThe Systems Analyst serves as a key contributor to defining, analysing, and delivering solutions that drive business change and value. By bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, the role ensures that systems and processes are efficient, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with organizational goals. The incumbent will analyse business requirements and translate them into comprehensive system specifications using industry-standard methodologies and tools.Key OutcomesThe following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Systems Analyst:

• As a System Analyst, 30% of your role will involve performing business analyst task.
• Developing System Requirement Specifications (SRS) by analysing various sources information like a Business Requirement Specifications (BRS)
• Creating technical artifacts, such as data models, activity or business process diagrams, component flow diagrams, functional decompositions, and data flow diagrams using tools like Enterprise Architect, Visio, or Draw.io.
• Conduct detailed impact analysis including process, gap and data analysis
• Ensuring system designs are aligned with business goals & requirements and ensuring that requirements are accurate and complete
• Facilitation of workshops, database design sessions, and solution discussions to gather information, finalize functional and non-functional requirements, and share knowledge.
• Documenting and promote best practices, standards, and guidelines to support consistent and effective solutions aligned with architectural principles.
• Design of As-Is, Transition and To-Be architectures at the appropriate level (Business, Information System, Technology)
• Providing detailed and tailored specifications for GUIs, Rules, Components, Services and Databases
• Presenting system solutions to stakeholders, including walkthroughs for analysts, project managers, architects, development teams, and testers to aid understanding and project prioritization.
• Engaging and updating stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Supporting development and testing teams during sprints, offering guidance on technical implementations and participating in test matrix walkthroughs.
• Providing feedback for implementation planning, prioritization, and tracking via the Project Management Office.
• Delivering post-implementation support for business users and IT teams.
• Handling business support queries, troubleshooting errors, and resolving production system issues

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant qualifications or experience in systems analysis.
• Preferred: B. Com or B.Sc. in Information Technology or Informatics.
• 3-5 years of experience in the investment industry.
• Experience in designing and supporting web-based solutions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, JSON, and APIs (REST/GraphQL) is essential.
• 3-5 years of software development experience (advantageous).
• Strong expertise in relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server or DB2.
• Experience in file management, data mapping, and FTP.
• Proficiency in SQL stored procedures and advanced data analysis.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and microservice architecture.
• Exposure to SCRUM (essential) and other Agile methodologies (advantageous).
• Proven ability to collaborate with external stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions.
