Job description
Provides input into ITS strategy and relevant systems strategy
o Collaborates with the IT manager and ensures input into the one year operating plan and projects priority plan in line with ITS strategy and relevant business requirements
o Provides input into systems related Risk Management Strategies and risk mitigation
o Support Systems Manager in the drafting of Technology Roadmaps
o Collaborate with Architects, Infrastructure, Systems Applications Specialists, System Analysts and Analyst Programmers across WW IT
Delivers quality systems solutions that meet the business need
o Provide input and guidance to the IT manager and the application teams to ensure identification and delivery of system solutions
o Solution design / design reviews to ensure E2E systems integrity
Keeps up to date with best practice and the latest developments
o Proactively update ITS and the business where relevant
o Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for delivering new and improving existing solutions to meet the business requirements
o Identify Service Improvement initiatives, drive implementation and measure benefits
o Ensure Disaster Recovery documentation is updated and tested regularly
Ensures that solutions adhere to WW architectural, technical standards and principles
o Provides application teams with architectural and technical thought leadership
Leads a diverse team of resources to effectively deliver solutions on time and budget

Minimum requirements
3 year IT qualification
5-8 years relevant experience
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
Relevant deep application content knowledge (Oracle PeopleSoft HCM modules and their interactions)
End to End understanding of WW IT landscape
Relevant technical and architectural knowledge
+ Expertise in PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Configuration & Setup
+ Proficiency in configuring and managing web servers (Oracle Weblogic), applying critical vulnerability patches and knowledge of how these servers interact with PeopleSoft's application layer
+ Understanding of the architecture of PeopleSoft application servers, including scaling, load balancing and failover configurations. Familiarity with Windows Server OS and performance monitoring the OS
+ Database architecture and integration (SQL server), understanding of database objects
+ Understanding of PeopleSoft's data model, ability to write efficient SQL queries and experience with data migration
+ Knowledge of PeopleSoft security module, including monitoring of privileged access to infrastructure
+ Experience with backup & disaster recovery for PeopleSoft databases hosted on SQL server
+ Familiarity with integrating PeopleSoft HCM with other applications using web services and integration broker
+ Proficiency in using PeopleSoft diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and optimise system performance
+ Understanding of PeopleSoft Update Manager for applying patches and updates
Project management skills
Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation to architecture, configurations and procedures.
