A renowned private Higher Education Institution is looking for a Finance Management Lecturer to join their team on a Part-Time basis in Bellville, Cape Town.
Very good compensation package on offer (subject to qualifications and/or experience).
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating relevant lesson plans & researching new & effective ways of delivering information to students in a creative way, to keep them interested & make them eager to learn more.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lecturing
Preparing and delivering regular lectures for students
Guiding class discussions, whilst encouraging debate & feedback amongst students
Assist with developing academic content & preparation of course materials where able
Attend quarterly meetings as required by the Management Team
Maintain a practical understanding of service standards & quality improvement initiatives relevant to your department
Engaging in professional development as appropriate
Engaging in research & developing new topics, courses & teaching materials
Administration
Taking register before every class (done digitally)
Prepare lesson plans, guided by the study guide provided
Compiling class tests, practical assignments, formal test & exam papers
Complete all marking of assignments, tests & exams within the necessary time
Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Relevant industry experience
2 years relevant teaching experience will be an advantage
Ability to write & edit assignments, test & exam papers in English
