Reference No. 483-0808LHReference Number: 483-0808LH:Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is well-versed in recruitment for the mining sector across the EMEA region to join their team in Gauteng.Responsibilities:

  • Management of end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple sites.
  • Drafting and publishing of job adverts in line with approved job profiles.
  • Sourcing through various methods for complex roles.
  • Carrying out candidate response management.
  • Compiling long listing matrices for review by hiring managers.
  • Scheduling, conducting and facilitating interviews.
  • Ensuring that interview processes are procedurally fair and provide guidance on this.
  • Conduct background checks on selected candidates.
  • Preparing offers in line with approved salary scales.
  • Ensure that the recruitment system is kept up to date at all times for all vacancies by moving candidates through the recruitment workflow.
  • Internal and external stakeholder relationship management and improvement.
  • Driving hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
  • Ensure that recruitment governance, service level agreements and data accuracy policies are adhered to.
  • Management of visa processes for expatriate employees.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or similar.
  • 5 years minimum previous experience in end-to-end recruitment for mining, mineral processing or engineering across Africa / the EMEA region.
  • Experience in coordinating recruitment for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience recruiting for unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled employees.
  • Proven ability in recruitment and selection techniques, selection guidelines and local employment legislation practices across the EMEA region.
  • Well-versed in sourcing prospective talent through social and internal networking, job boards and referrals.
  • Strong administration, organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-versed in the full Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems.
