As the talent acquisition specialist and HR administrator, you will be the engine behind attracting top creative talent, as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR operations. This dual role requires someone who is both people-focused and detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of recruitment, onboarding, HR processes, and a passion for culture-building in the creative industry.
Key responsibilities:
Talent acquisition
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and role requirements.
Draft compelling job descriptions tailored to creative industry standards.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process:
sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer management.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through proactive sourcing (LinkedIn, job boards, networking, etc.).
Champion employer branding through social media and recruitment campaigns.
Coordinate and support internship and graduate recruitment programs.
HR administration
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases (contracts, leave, benefits, etc.).
Support the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
Assist with payroll inputs, leave tracking, and employee benefits administration.
Respond to employee queries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
Support employee engagement and wellness programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience (five-plus years) in a combined HR and Talent acquisition role, ideally within a creative or media environment.
Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms and HR systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
