Responsibilities include data entry, verification, calculating wages and deductions, maintaining payroll records, preparing documents and reports, and addressing employee inquiries related to payroll. Supporting the Benefits Specialist, the role contributes to smooth payroll operations and employee satisfaction.Functions:

  • Assist with payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Data entry and verification of payroll information.
  • Calculate wages and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records.
  • Prepare payroll documents and reports.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Support the Benefits Specialist to ensure timely and correct employee payments.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12, including Mathematics/Maths Literacy.
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Payroll/HR administration.
  • Strong time management and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
