  • Advertising: Ensure all active roles are advertised using appropriate mediums and social media to attract candidates and build relationships.
  • Candidate research: Research and source information on prospective candidates using external and internal databases, deep web searching, and social media. Manage all gathered information appropriately.
  • Headhunting: Identify and approach suitable candidates, using databases to match the right person to the clients vacancy.
  • Handling applications: Receive and review applications, manage interviews and tests, and create a shortlist of candidates for the client.
  • Leads: Identify job leads, pass them to the relevant consultant, source new candidates from job sites, social media, and other platforms using local market knowledge.
  • Work on roles and CVs: Coordinate with consultants to learn job details, qualifications, and experience needed. Source suitable candidates and prepare CVs and correspondence to present to clients.
  • Interviews: Organise interviews for candidates, negotiate pay and salary rates, and conduct pre-employment and compliance checks as per internal policy and regulatory requirements.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelors Degree in HR, Psychology, Marketing or similar
Experience
  • 1 2 Years proven experience in recruitment, talent researcher/sourcer or similar position
  • Understanding of sourcing and recruiting techniques
  • Ability to work with targets
Skills & Competencies:
  • Articulate: Able to handle complex objections while maintaining composure and credibility. Strong questioning skills and ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Confident: Engaging personality with the confidence to pitch opportunities, interview and qualify candidates, and manage post-interview feedback.
  • Proactive and Reliable: Ability to source suitable applicants from various angles and provide effective solutions.
  • Resilient: Able to handle challenges, take rejections, and bounce back in a tough recruitment environment.
  • IT Literate: Strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Sales Competent: Competitive, eager to improve, and willing to develop new skills in talent sourcing and recruitment.
  • Team-player: Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
