Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Reporting and Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. If you are passionate about tax accounting and financial reporting and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role is for you!Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Manage tax compliance processes, including the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and consultants to provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and changes in legislation.
- Support the finance team in monthly and year-end close processes.
- Conduct research on complex tax matters and provide recommendations for tax optimization strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for all tax filings, including income tax, VAT/GST, property tax, and payroll taxes.
- Prepare reconciliations of tax accounts and assist with any ad hoc financial reporting projects.
- CA(SA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and federal, state, and local tax regulations.
