Job Summary Job purpose/mandate: To ensure the correct and accurate completion of Income Tax Returns as required by the South African Income Tax system. Specific duties and responsibilities xefx82xb7 Managing tax reporting and compliance process for clients xefx82xb7 Processing, tracking, and paying invoices related to tax and consulting projects. xefx82xb7 Performing payroll tax system administration, including data maintenance and adjustments. xefx82xb7 Handling SARS (South African Revenue Service) queries, and maintaining knowledge of the local tax system xefx82xb7 Consistently complete Income Tax Returns correctly and accurately xefx82xb7 Client focus internal and external (responding to client needs, service) xefx82xb7 SARS e-Filing knowledge Competencies Desired Experience & Qualifications xefx82xb7 Matric xefx82xb7 Bachelors degree in accounting or finance xefx82xb7 A minimum of 3 Years Tax Experience Income tax and SARS experience Expectations xefx82xb7 Correspond with SARS Consultants. xefx82xb7 Assist with SARS and general tax queries xefx82xb7 Assist with ad hoc tax tasks xefx82xb7 Must have a good understanding of the SARS procedures. xefx82xb7 Must have good problem-solving skills, communication skills and client service orientated. xefx82xb7 The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure with deadlines in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional quality work. xefx82xb7 Effective organisation of daily tasks (time management, planning, administration and reporting skills, meeting deadlines) xefx82xb7 Numerical accuracy xefx82xb7 Proficient Communication (verbal and written)The Recruitment CouncilRecruiter
