Responsibilities:

• Facilitate timely and accurate tax return submissions, in accordance with legislative mandates and SARS requirements.
• Spearhead VAT and provisional tax return processes, ensuring all schedules are meticulously completed.
• Conduct thorough tax computations and reconciliations, and manage deferred tax reconciliations with precision.
• Craft tax disclosures for financial statements, underpinned by solid analytical evidence.
• Drive continuous improvement in systems and processes for optimal tax compliance.
• Deliver compelling presentations to the tax committee, influencing key decision-makers.
• Provide astute tax guidance to management, shaping strategic business decisions.
• Address international tax matters with expertise.
• Stay abreast of tax legislation changes, enhancing your knowledge through professional development.
• Contribute to transfer pricing strategies and payroll tax advisory.

• Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) in South Africa, with a preference for candidates holding a Higher Diploma in Taxation.
• Completion of articles at a reputable accounting firm.
• Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) / International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Extensive knowledge of Tax Legislation.
