Job Description
This global household brand in the Manufacturing/Consumer Goods space is looking for a Tax Manager. This company has been at the forefront of innovation in the industry and they continue to grow and dominate the market. This opportunity will put you in the middle of the company's daily operations and will provide ample exposure in the industry. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the tax and finance functions, including the compliance of local and international tax legislation and the optimisation of the company's tax strategy.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the transfer pricing strategy
- Deal with international tax compliance
- Country-by-country reports
- Transfer pricing calculations and reviews
- Withholding tax calculations and compliance
- Deal with foreign tax authorities
- Provide assistance regarding merger and acquisition transactions
- Deal with cross-boarder transactions
- Review tax accounts for half year and year-end reporting
- CA(SA) accreditation is essential
- Postgraduate in Taxation is highly beneficial
- 5+ years tax experience is essential
- 2+ years managerial experience is essential
- International and transfer pricing experience is essential
- Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry experience is beneficial
