Job Description
This global entity in the mining and manufacturing space is looking for a Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This company has been in the forefront of innovation in the industry and they continue to grow and dominate in the market. This opportunity will put you in the middle of the company's daily operations and will provide ample exposure in the industry. They strive to provide customer solutions based on science, technology and industry knowledge.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Tax compliance for all RSA entities direct tax returns
- Review direct tax returns
- SARS Submissions
- Assist in audits
- Keep up to date to all tax law changes
- Identify and implement new tax strategies
- Deal with tax risk and propose potential solutions
- Management of junior tax staff
- CA(SA) or SAIT accreditation is essential
- 8+ years post articles experience in the commercial industry
- Manufacturing, FMCG and construction industry experience is preferred
