  • A qualification in Early Childhood Development or a relevant degree in Education / Psychology with relevant experience
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle
  • Clean criminal record
  • First aid qualifications
  • Three years of experience working with children in the 2 to 4-year-old age group

Duties will include:
  • Holistic Child development: Foster the holistic development of each child by designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
  • Individualized Attention: Provide individualized attention to each child, understanding their unique needs, interests, and learning styles.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Prepare and execute daily/weekly activities based on our established curriculum, incorporating playful, science
  • based approaches.
  • Creating a Welcoming Environment: Set up a welcoming classroom each morning, ensuring a safe and engaging space for children.
  • Building Rapport: Build strong relationships with both children and their parents, facilitating open communication and trust.
  • Routine Maintenance: Maintain a consistent daily routine to provide structure and stability for children's growth.
  • Positive Reinforcement: Enforce positive reinforcement as the primary disciplinary approach, promoting healthy behaviour and emotional development.
  • Parent Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, sharing updates, progress, and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Conduct regular assessments of each child's development and progress, providing timely and meaningful reports to parents.
  • Classroom Housekeeping: Clean and maintain the classroom area regularly, including sanitizing toys and surfaces, to provide a clean and safe
    learning environment. The teacher will also be responsible for completing a hazard checklist on a monthly basis to ensure a safe classroom
    environment.
Remuneration:
  • Depending om work hours
Working hours: Monday to Friday: 08H30 - 12H00 IMPORTANT:
