Title Team Lead: Commercial and PricingWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Team Lead for Commercial and Pricing within our Infrastructure Practice. This role is pivotal in overseeing the commercial strategy and pricing models for our infrastructure solutions, ensuring they align with market trends, client needs, and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure solutions, commercial strategy, and pricing, combined with excellent leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of pricing and commercial analysts.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of commercial and pricing analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Commercial Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for our infrastructure solutions to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define pricing strategies that reflect market conditions, competitive positioning, and client expectations.
Pricing Model Management:
  • Design and maintain pricing models for infrastructure products and services, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews and adjustments to pricing strategies based on market analysis, cost changes, and business performance.
Market Analysis and Research:
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs.
  • Analyze data and generate insights to inform pricing strategies and commercial decisions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the sales, product management, and finance teams to ensure alignment on commercial strategies and pricing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
  • Oversee the development and negotiation of commercial contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
  • Ensure that all pricing and commercial agreements are compliant with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track and report on the performance of pricing strategies and commercial initiatives, using metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on commercial performance, pricing trends, and market conditions.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the commercial and pricing functions.
  • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of the team and commercial strategies.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead position. Experience in the infrastructure industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong expertise in commercial strategy and pricing model development for infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in market analysis, pricing strategy, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies and market trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools.
