To facilitate engagements with internal and external stakeholders to identify, analyze and implement mitigations and continuous improvement opportunities for the operation against the key objectives of Customer centricity and reliability of supply. The Demand Co-Ordinator Team Lead is responsible for analyzing, interpret and translating LCCT standard reports and KPIs into useful information that can be used to initiate continuous improvement interventions. The Team lead is also responsible for the management of performance as well as continuous coaching of the team.Note: Leave block out periods will apply during peak periodsRecruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

  • Monitoring, and reporting on team performance utilizing leading and lagging indicators through various daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Review and update all SOP's and work instructions for the demand Co-ordinators and ensure all team members are competent.
  • Identify development and competency gaps within the team; and facilitate applicable interventions that will close the identified gaps to perform their day-to-day activities.
  • Participate and implement Continuous improvement project initiatives and plans utilizing an Agile philosophy.
  • Ensure conformance to all safety procedures and facilitate implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ensure performance agreements and PDPs are aligned with the Function and team performance targets.
  • Ensure performance discussions take place monthly and that the formal bi-annual and annual discussions are conducted.
  • Engage stakeholders through constant communication on service status; conduct continuous improvement by facilitating effective root-cause analysis; and provide prompt feedback to stakeholders with regards
to incident resolution
  • Monitor the S&OP monthly demand plan translation into executable week demand forecast.
  • Monitor replenishment plan and ensure that the suggested orders from the replenishment tool are valid as per the defined criteria.
  • Monitoring, and reviewing on performance utilizing leading and lagging indicators through various daily, weekly, and monthly reports and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Present standard weekly/monthly as well as ad-hoc KPI's to the LCCT Manger, LCCT Team Managers and any other stakeholders.
  • Manage and ensure the Release of the relevant stakeholders on the specified platform and timeline.
  • Coordinate all received and requested order amendments and check them against the relevant NDD schedule.
  • Facilitate continuous alignment engagements with transactional stakeholders.
  • Prompt or improve team performance.
  • Manage, action, and provide feedback on the exception report generated by the Customer Replenishment Planning Tool, to determine whether order amendment requests can be fulfilled. This also applies
to ad-hoc and Wholesale Marketing orders.
  • Validate and resolve emergency order requests.
  • Validate customer adherence to the agreed NDD's and committed volumes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through constant communication on service status; conduct continuous improvement by facilitating effective root-cause analysis; and provide prompt feedback to
stakeholders with regards to incident resolution.
  • Ensure execution of administrative housekeeping tasks eg open orders, master data integrity etc.
Formal Education
  • B Degree (Logistics) with minimum 5 to 10 years' experience in a customer demand fulfillment environment will be an advantage
  • Strong Replenishment Planning and SAP system knowledge required
