The IT Technical Operations Lead is responsible to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and support of the companyxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s internal IT infrastructure and systems. Working with IT suppliers and internal IT teams to ensure effective coordination to improve the quality and turnaround time of the delivery of IT related tasks, projects and services. The role provides the business with IT services including IT supplier payments, procurement, service management, data security related processes and IT support services. 1. Infrastructure Management: Managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services. This involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring scalability and reliability. 2. System Administration: Configuring, installing, and managing operating systems and software applications across the organization's network. This includes user account management, access control, and security configuration. 3. Network Operations: Managing the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. Tech Ops professionals ensure network connectivity, performance optimization, and security compliance. 4. Security Operations: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This includes managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and conducting regular security audits and assessments. 5. Incident Response: Responding to and resolving IT incidents and service disruptions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on business operations. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with other teams, and implementing preventive measures. 6. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implementing and managing backup solutions to ensure the availability and integrity of critical data. Tech Ops professionals also develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of system failures or disasters. 7. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring system performance and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Tech Ops teams may optimize configurations, upgrade hardware, or implement performance tuning measures to enhance system efficiency. 8. Compliance and Governance: Ensuring that the organization's technology infrastructure complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. This includes data privacy regulations, industry-specific requirements, and internal policies. 9.
