This exciting opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is currently working in the technical division of an audit firm and is eager to transition into the banking sector. The successful incumbent will be involved in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance, providing key financial insights to support strategic decision-making.Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Newly qualified CA(SA)
- Currently working in the technical division of an audit firm
- Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
- Exposure to financial services or banking clients (advantageous)
- CA(SA) qualification
- Provide technical accounting support and ensure compliance with IFRS standards
- Assist with financial reporting, including regulatory and statutory reporting
- Engage with stakeholders on complex accounting matters
- Support risk management and internal control processes
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function
- VAT and Tax
- Preparation of annual financial statements
