Job Description
Quantum Foods is a diversified feeds and poultry business providing quality animal protein to selected South African and African markets.Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at its Nova Feeds Factory in Paterson, Eastern Cape, with the following vacancy: TECHNICAL ADVISOR. This position will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and will be servicing their internal clients in the Eastern Cape (Tsitsikamma-Cradock).PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Achieve the sales budget and complete scheduled projects
- Work closely with the Technical Department to compile and implement a technical support plan
- Manage service levels
- Visit and provide technical support to customers (mainly ruminant and some monogastric animals)
- Monitor farm feed quality and advise on product application
- Administer sales documents and reports
- Report functional information
- Execute Marketing plan
- Achieve profitable growth throughout cycle
- Relevant agricultural degree (MSc Agric/BSc Agric/BAgric)
- At least 3 years experience in similar position
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and a self starter
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable transport
