Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join their manufacturing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide technical support in the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Support the implementation of new manufacturing techniques and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
