About the Role
We are seeking a
Technical Buyer
with experience in theQSR industry
and a background inchicken abattoirs
to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding oftechnical purchasing
, supplier management, and supply chain logistics, with a willingness totravel frequently
to various countries, suppliers, processing facilities and operational sites.###
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with
suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers
to ensure cost-effective procurement. Conductsupplier audits and site visits
to assess quality, compliance, and efficiency. Negotiatecontracts, pricing, and service agreements
to optimize cost savings and quality assurance. Monitor inventory levels and coordinatejust-in-time procurement
to minimize downtime and disruptions. Work closely withproduction
to understand technical requirements and provide procurement solutions. Ensure all purchases comply withindustry standards, food safety regulations and company policies
. Prepare reports onprocurement performance, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations
. Stay up to date withnew technologies and trends
in abattoir equipment and QSR supply chain management.###
Requirements:
Proven experience
as aTechnical Buyer
in theQSR or food manufacturing industry
, specifically withinchicken abattoirs
. Strong understanding oftechnical procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation
. Willingness and ability totravel frequently
for supplier audits, inspections, and negotiations. Proficiency inprocurement software and ERP systems
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge offood safety standards, equipment maintenance and operational requirements
in chicken processing.Degree or diploma
in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)Closing date:
