Job & Company Description:
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and will play a key role in ensuring the bank's compliance with these standards.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Professional accounting qualification CA(SA)
- Extensive experience in technical accounting, particularly IFRS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interpret and apply IFRS standards to financial reporting
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Stay updated on changes in IFRS and communicate impacts to stakeholders
