Experience in Project Management & strong understanding in manufacturing processes & product knowledge. SA citizen, willing to travel (into Africa) & taste confectionery/bakery.Highly computer literate, excellent communication & presentation skills, with SAP experience.Location: Paarl, Cape TownSalary: Competitive, based on experienceDETAILSOur client, a global producer of food & beverage ingredients, flavours and speciality additives are hiring a Technical Key Account Manager to focus on building their bakery & confectionery division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical projects in collaboration with Applications & Sales, giving support & troubleshooting on recipe formulation & filling technology. Being the central point of contact for all technical concerns from the customers, the position will entail regular travel to customers in SA and into Africa and will require strong technical knowledge and business development acumen. Specifically, knowledge and understanding in manufacturing processes in production, addressing technical problems in the production of business to customer products at the customers premises and providing support when customer issues arise in collaboration with Quality. The candidate will need to have experience liaising across divisions and servicing large corporate accounts in the food sector.REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Food Science/Food Tech
• 10 years in technical product development / application / production the food & beverage industry, with the focus on Bakery & Confectionery
• Project management, manufacturing processes experience
• Strong technical product development experience & knowledge
• Proven communication & presentation skills
• Self-motivated, customer orientated, great attention to detail
• Highly computer literate, with experience using SAP preferred.
