Job Description


Essential Skills Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of Technical Lifecycle Management (TLM) in IT.
  • Prior experience as an Infrastructure Architect/Solution Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with IT Infrastructure (Data Centres, Networks, Servers, Storage, Middleware, Cloud Technologies).
  • Practical experience in TLM and IT Operations.
  • Ability to conceptualize complex information and delve into details when required.
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL standards relevant to IT Operations.
  • Experience with classical IT Infrastructure Operations, DevOps, and Agile software development.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
  • Fluent in English, including business reading and writing.
  • German speaking (advantageous but not required).
  • IT experience (advantageous but not required).
  • Advanced skills in preparing and delivering presentations to all organizational levels.
  • Communication methodology skills in large organizations/initiatives.
  • IT Infrastructure Operations, IT Process Steering, IT Process Governance.
  • Data Analysis (Excel, Power-BI).
  • Understanding of ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and customers at different organizational levels.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Self-motivated and open to proactive investigations and learning in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with effective communication abilities.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
  • 5 to 6 years of IT experience.
  • Higher qualification in computer sciences/information systems or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English, including business reading, writing, and presentation delivery.
  • IT Operational Experience as per ITIL.
  • Project management experience.
  • Agile Methodology knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult on IT architecture processes focusing on Technical Lifecycle Management (TLM).
  • Support planning, conducting, and aftercare related to TLM activities.
  • Document infrastructure components and master solutions according to TLM and architecture guidelines, ensuring quality assurance.
  • Monitor and report TLM activities within the Group.
  • Interface with IT Service Management experts.
  • Improve the quality of architecture documentation with a focus on TLM.
  • Develop technical recommendations related to TLM.
  • Update and maintain TLM Confluence pages, process templates, and service offerings in ServiceNow.
  • Maintain and optimize IT processes in IT Service Management (ITIL) with a focus on TLM.
  • Review and report the status of mandatory artifacts and activities.
  • Maintain customer base data.
  • Engage in TLM Crisis and Emergency Management as needed.
  • Support Dev/Ops Teams (Infrastructure and Applications) in TLM activities.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies and adhere to ZA IT HUB rules, policies, and regulations.
