Technical Manager Fruit Factory

Port Alfred Area Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Technical Manager Fruit Factory to join the team.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
Previous fruit farming experience
Computer literate
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet production targets
Must be willing to travel
Maintenance orientated

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Dealing with Fresh Fruit Farm Growers with fruit procurement, farm visits, specifications and audits.
Attend to factory maintenance and breakdowns on all equipment / machinery in/for the factory.
Maintenance Schedules and Plans, with budgets.
Boiler maintenance / management.
Water treatment and pest control management.
It is important to be able to work as part of the food safety management team
