Job Description
Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality agricultural products, has the above opportunity available for an experienced Technical Product Manager who has a passion for the table grape industry to join their technical team. The ability to build relationships based on trust and technical expertise is essential to the role.The successful candidate will report to the Commercial & Marketing Manager, and will primarily be responsible for the Northern Cape & Namibian regions. Duties will be focused on plant growth regulators, and will include *technical support at grower & agent level *product training *demand creation and selling the value proposition of the Philagro product portfolio *management of budgets *product stewardship *ongoing research & development *all other tasks related to the role.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
A relevant BSc qualification (MSc preferred);
5 - 8 Years' experience in a similar role, focused on table grapes;
A background in plant physiology & plant nutrition will be beneficial;
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
