Collaborating with current and new clients to get business acumen, understanding of their industry, what projects are live and whats in the pipeline, their company

Sharing market insights with clients by keeping up with industry news in and out of South Africa
Advertising vacancies by drafting professional adverts and advertising on social media
Using social media to network and increase connections, attract candidates and build relationships
Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitably qualified passive candidates.
Using the ATS to proactively source and match the right person to the right job
Response handling of applications, arranging/conducting interviews, tests as and when required and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job
Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants
Proactively marketing candidate profiles with top skills across industries to current and new clients
Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
Sharing feedback timeously with candidates on the outcome of the interviews
Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
Ensuring that SLAs are renewed and that the fees have been signed off before sending documents to clients
Partnering with both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated
Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.
Working collaboratively with designated recruiters in sourcing suitable candidates for designated job positions
Requirements
APSO accredited professional or equivalent with minimum ten years recruitment experience. Strong technical recruitment experience essential
5 10 yrs of recruitment experience within Mining, Engineering, Oil and Gas Industries,
Power generation & FMCG will be an added advantage.
Customer focused with the ability and desire to partner with client HR personnel, hiring managers and external vendors.
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Problem-solving ability
The ability to meet deadlines and targets
Strong communication skills including ability to clearly articulate information and ideas orally and in writing; ability to communicate compellingly to impact and influence decision making Continuous self-learning
Valid drivers license
