Our client based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg is currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.The company is a leading manufacturer of factory and process automation solutions, catering to industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, electronics, food & beverages, chemicals, and more. They sell directly to end users and OEMs, providing innovative solutions across a wide range of applications.Duties:

• Accountable for Geographic & Industrial Sales Development of the companys product portfolio.
• Manage complex sales processes, diligently develop pipeline and healthy opportunities, prepare and conduct sales presentations, engaging effectively to all focus customers.
• Work closely with Team Leader(s) to establish and implement account plan and strategy.
• Acquire the needed technical competency to hold at least preliminary technical presentations and discussions with customers.
• Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new revenue through prospecting, lead/funnel follow-up, and effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications using company structured KPIs.
• Plan and conduct weekly sales visits to targeted customers on regular basis to build visibility- review and update progress of these visits with Team Leader(s) on weekly basis.
• Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by the Team Leader(s), from time to time.

Desired Skills & Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications.
• At least 2-3 years experience in technical sales of industrial automation.
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly within a team.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in using a CRM system.

Remuneration:

• Basic (Market Related based on experience) + Commission + Pension + Cellphone + Company Car
