With a strong commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology, the company is renowned for its efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly products that support various construction and infrastructure projectsAs an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales in Gauteng and surrounding areas, ensuring smooth branch operations. You will liaise with merchants and sales teams, collaborate with engineers and technical departments to meet product specifications, and conduct regular site visits. Additional duties include managing service-related issues, planning promotions, seminars, and training, and providing accurate sales forecasts and stock planning.Job experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in external sales, preferably within the plumbing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships in a similar sales environment.
- Advanced negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Strong ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and CRM software; fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.
