Technical Sales Representative
Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of high-quality plumbing and drainage solutions, offering innovative piping systems for commercial and residential projects. With a strong industry reputation, they seek a dynamic Technical Sales Representative to drive growth and support customers in Cape Town.Provide technical support to sales partners and clients to drive market demand. Manage projects, including acquisition, design, engineering, and site inspections. Assist installers on-site, ensuring smooth project execution and submitting detailed site reports. Conduct sales and technical training for key partners, merchants, plumbers, and engineers. Build strong relationships with contractors, promote product adoption, and support trade sales through merchant visits, demo days, and consultant training. Utilize CRM for sales activity tracking and assist with designs using Silvestro software when required.Job experience and Skills Required:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Plumbing, or a related field; trade certification is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years in the plumbing/sanitary industry with strong contractor and consultant relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, AutoCAD, and REVIT/BIM applications; hands-on experience in construction sites and project management.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and technical sales skills; ability to conduct training and build industry partnerships.
- Valid drivers license and fluency in English
