Job Summary Solid business has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative to work in GAuteng, travelling to the SADC/SASS regions for 2 weeks of the month. Customer base is in Mining, Construction Export Sales Representative Technical Sales Specialist SSA and SADC Responsibilities and Duties 1. Market Research and Analysis 2. Customer Relationship Management 3. Sales Strategy and Planning 4. Product Knowledge and Training 5. Negotiation and Contract Management 6. Prepare and manage sales contracts in terms of finding distributors in new territories . 7. Financial Management 8. Compliance and Risk Management 9. Reporting and Analysis Key Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with international clients. Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Analytical skills to interpret market data and sales performance. Organizational skills to manage multiple clients and sales processes. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different cultural and market environments. Identifying and targeting new customers. Desired Experience Sales and Export Experience Proven track record in sales, preferably in the industrial, mining or engineering products or services sectors. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export sales or international business development. Experience in managing international client relationships and sales processes. Industry Knowledge Familiarity with industrial coatings, adhesives, or related products. Understanding of the target markets and industries, such as mining, construction or manufacturing. Market Analysis Experience in conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies. Experience in preparing and managing sales contracts, including compliance with international trade regulations. Understanding of export documentation, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures. Desired Qualifications Matric Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in international trade, export management, or related areas are a plus. Language Skills Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential. Fluency in additional languages relevant to target markets can be a significant advantage Technical Skills Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools; Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
