WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and equipping the Sales and Marketing teams with detailed crop protection, product, and agronomical knowledge. This position involves acting as an interface between technical, marketing, sales teams, agents, and farmer customers, ensuring effective problem-solving and complaint handling

Duties will include the following:

Provide comprehensive training on products and crops to the Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams, and support customers with sales challenges Oversee demo trials to demonstrate product performance and prepare reports for Crop Managers before product launches Investigate and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer service Compile and analyze various trial data sources, demo trial data, and commercial experiences to generate relevant sales information Provide in-depth technical knowledge to Key Account Managers Conduct technical training sessions for agents Conduct planned in-field technical training and practical demonstrations Offer technical support to the Sales team for technical argumentation required by agents or farmers Periodically evaluate the sales teams' product and crop knowledge in the region Act as the first line of communication between the ZA teams and APE experts to expedite feedback on urgent technical questions

WHAT YOU OFFER

Minimum BSc, preferably in Agriculture 5 years of experience Specialist crop protection knowledge and experience High level relevant crop agronomy knowledge of especially row crops in the Cape area. On farm experience, working with farmers and agents
