Our engineering client based in Durban is looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager to join their teamPOSITION INFO:
Key requirements

• Marine experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Qualified artisan (Diesel fitter/Mechanic/Mechatronics)

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer success by guiding the team to solve technical problems
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach, all the way from project implementation to completion
• Maintain strong relationships within the technical services team
• Plan and implement jobs
• Help define projects scope, goals and deliverables
• Collect and manage budget, allocate project resources, create a schedule and project timeline
• Track deliverables, support and direct team, lead quality assurance
• Present to the

reports on progress as well as problems and solutions * Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs

• Evaluate and assess the result of the projects
• Implement long-range and immediate plans and objectives of the Technical services department
• Maintain accurate records of jobs completed and associated financial costs.
