Job Description
Experienced Technical Manager required for a hospital situated in Durban. The Technical Services Manager is tasked with the effective management of all technical and related services at the hospital. This role encompasses the oversight of infrastructure and asset risks, as well as the supervision of all clinical and non-clinical plant and equipment.Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree/ B Tech Degree qualification equivalent to a NQF level 7 in the fields of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (required)
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant technical and managerial experience.
- Experience in asset and financial management.
- Background in both electrical and mechanical engineering in the hospital or hospitality industry would be an advantage.
- Previous project management experience.
- Strong understanding of legislation relevant to the business environment.
- Intermediate computer literacy, in MS Office.
- Familiarity with maintenance and asset management principles.
- Understanding of energy and water management.
- Preferred knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of building regulations is advantageous.
