Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a talented Technical Services Manager to join our their team in the mining industry. This position is based in the North-West province.Responsibilities
- Manage Technical Services sub-departments (Survey, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Rock Engineering, short-term mine planning).
- Implement Technical Services and regulatory standards; assure General Manager of compliance.
- Report on production performance and Resource and Reserve metrics.
- Develop and align Technical Services plan with mine strategy.
- Create short, medium, and long-term mine schedules and production budgets based on approved designs and LOM plans.
- Establish a slope monitoring system to prevent underground sidewall failures.
- Grade 12
- BSc. Hons Degree in Geoscience/B.Eng. Degree in Mining Engineering
- Registered with SACNASP
- 10 years' experience in Mineral Resource/Geology/Survey/Geotechnical/Mine Planning
- MDP (Management Development Programme) or equivalent.
- Knowledge in resource modelling, mine scheduling and spatial/GIS software
- Valid Drivers' License
- Salary: Negotiable
