Job Summary We are recruiting a Technical Writer to join our team in Sandton. The purpose of the Technical Writer role is to produce the IT Technical proposals required for commodity services demanded by our customers (e.g.: Domain Protection Services, WIRAD and Vulnerability Management as a Service). The proposal writer will be responsible to design, implement and manage the template library for the iOCO IS Solutions division (including Innovations, Solution Architecture and PMO divisions) and ensure document governance through the Solutions teams. Qualifications Required: Graphics Design Diploma Proposal Writing Qualification Preferred Qualification : IT Related Degree or Diploma Experience required: Experience in client and engagement management in ICT Experience in Managed Services offerings Graphics Design Diploma Proposal Writing qualification (APMP preferred) Technical Writer Qualification (eg: Technical Business Writing course | Information and Communication Technology Services) Duties/Responsibilities: Providing the proposals required for defined commodity services (services that require volumetric only to define a price). Design, implement and manage the various templates required by the Solutions teams Designing the graphics required for proposals and presentations Assisting the Solutions teams in Quality Checks for document standards before submissions Assisting the Solutions teams in presentation construction as required Providing governance oversight on document naming, storage and retention requirements Assisting the Solutions teams with proposals were and when required Ability to instill rigout and discipline in teams aligned with iOCO standards Ensure quality controls are in place and properly followed Facilitate contractual and financial matters between the different parties if and when necessary Co-Ordinate Business Support Functions e.g. Bid Office, Legal and Finance Participate in overall contract negotiation and management (Legal) Facilitate investment and decision-making processes with the client Work environment: Working from Home or Working at one of the EOH/iOCO offices Travel: Travel will be required for client sessions
