Support business technical functions on electronic initiating systems application and deployment
Train and assist blasting personnel with product application, performance, and optimization.
Verbal and written feedback to customer, with respect to product performance.
Perform product observations, problem solving and blast design.
Implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures pertaining to supply and service of explosives.
Value-add to Business Unit and customer operations and projects.
Travel and work on mine sites independently both locally and internationally.
Be on standby for a minimum of two weeks per month.
Overtime work as and when require
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE xc2xb7 Grade 12 with Maths & Science (Must) xc2xb7 Valid drivers license (Must) xc2xb7 3-5 years experience in the application and training of digital blasting systems or electronic initiation systems (Must) xc2xb7 3-5 years experience in the drill and blast environment in surface and/or underground mines (very advantageous) xc2xb7Certified Explosive Engineers Certificate (very advantageous) xc2xb7Experience in fault finding and repairing electronic circuits (very advantageous) xc2xb7Blasting Certificate (Surface/Underground) (advantageous) xc2xb7Tertiary Qualification (advantageous) xc2xb7Tertiary Qualification in Mining / Electronic / Electrical Engineering (advantageous)KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED People Leadership:
