: Key Performance OutputsThe successful candidate, reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering will be responsible for the following:
Ensure and execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programme and execution thereof.
Utilisation of enterprise asset management system. Prefor asset verification.
Maintain and/or manage material and spares.
Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure, including initiating, planning an executing continuous improvement projects.
Consult and give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
Provide input into budgets and perform procurement of services and good and perform inventory management.
Compile and submit relevant reports.
Manage Service Level Agreements (maintenance & supply)
Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's operational standards, policies, and practices.
Determine, as part of cross-functional team, evaluation criteria and participate in evaluation and award of bids / tenders received.
Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
Provide relevant and specialised technical support in area of expertise to relevant stakeholders and other maintenance departments to ensure achievement of objectives.
Conduct continuous Audit & quality control and ensure compliance to all applicable regulations & standards.
Technical Skills and ExperienceThe following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering is essential.
A minimum of 3 year's Infrastructure Maintenance experience is essential post qualification.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
Basic Knowledge of SCADA is necessary.
Basic knowledge of PLC necessary.
Valid Code B Drivers Licence essential.
