Job Specification

• Identify quality improvement projects through information analysis and to coordinate quality improvement projects.
• Facilitate the department quality meeting based on the top defects and customer complaints in the department.
• Initiate continuous cost saving programs
• Gather, analyze and capture data for department KPIxe2x80x99s and generate new indicators as and when required. Publishing of month end reports
• Liaise with Technical, mechanical and C & I engineering teams on quality, equipment availability and reliability improvement project
• Manage and coordination of trials.
• Liaise with Team Manager and Coordinator on quality deviations and equipment problems
• Assist Maintenance in maintenance planning, and assist with external supplierxe2x80x99s scope of work.
• 6S Champion for specific allocated areas. Update of boards and improvement projects.
• Initiate and Coordinate plant projects by loading Scopexe2x80x99s, ECRxe2x80x99s, ECPxe2x80x99s and liaising with Projects on progress and completion.
• Drafting of Capex for improvement projects.
• Setup, coordinate and implement TPM projects in department.
• Required to conducting LOTOxe2x80x99s and Gembaxe2x80x99s in department
• Facilitate LASS & TPM training
• Promote and demonstrate Columbus Stainless values
• Lead by example and interact respectfully with all disciplines in the Columbus environment

• Diploma or preferably B-Tech Degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering/Operations Management
• Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Production or plant environment.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good administrative skills, neat and organized
