• Protection schemes and control systems QC xe2x80xa2 Integrity testing of CT's and VT's xe2x80xa2 Detail level faultfinding on live (energized) electrical equipment xe2x80xa2 Resolve on-site electrical protection system failures xe2x80xa2 Reconfigure and replacement of faulty and old revision IED's to the latest IED revisions xe2x80xa2 Protection maintenance tests, protection scheme tests and specialized electrical tests. xe2x80xa2 Faultfinding and testing on electrical cables xe2x80xa2 Assisting with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of electrical switchgear to ensure conformity to Sasol standards. xe2x80xa2 Assisting Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning of electrical switchgear to ensure conformity Sasol standards and specific plant and production requirements xe2x80xa2 Comprehensive testing of electrical equipment Plant support xe2x80xa2 Participate in potential deviation analyses (PDA's), root cause analyses (RCA's) and management of change (MOC's). xe2x80xa2 Provide inputs into failure mode and effect analyses (FMEA's) xe2x80xa2 Fault finding support to the greater Secunda complex. xe2x80xa2 Provide plant start-up support to areas. xe2x80xa2 Conducting equipment trip/malfunction investigations

Formal EducationNational Diploma in Electrical Engineering-Experience as a Test Technician will be an advantage
