Job Description
Title Technician: InstallationJob Tittle:Installation TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Installation of tracking device into vehicles.Installation of Cameras into vehicles.Installation of two-way radios into vehicles.Basic repairs of tracking devices and diagnosis of auto-electrical problems.Ability to conduct current draw tests and provide technical solutions to problems encountered.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Installations, testing, and repairing of units.Educational Requirements & experience needed:Matric/ NQFL4 in Electrical Engineering/Auto Electrical Engineering2 / 3 Years experience in Fleet management and tracking industryComputer LiterateValid drivers licenseAuto Electrical background or experienceProduct knowledge on Fleet management and tracking productsProduct knowledge on Trunked Radio systemsOther Requirements:
- Proper and sufficient communication with clients (Internal and external)
- Quality Installations and Repairs of Netstar tracking and fleet management devices
- Adhering to Company Policies and procedures at all times
- Managing of Company property entrusted Example: ToT vehicle; Laptop; Toolsxe2x80xa6
- Problem solving by use of technical skills
- Daily Admin duties
- Proper handling of job cases by use of electronic device (Mobitech)
- Time keeping
- Monthly stock take and upkeep of stock
