Job Summary We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team. The Technician is a semi-skilled technical resource working in the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex telecommunications infrastructure equipment and is responsible for providing standard and advanced customer service solutions related to the installation and validation of new systems, planned and corrective maintenance, improving system utilization of installed systems, and supporting described sales activities for assigned accounts for all products distributed or supported by the organization. What youll do: Monitor network and perform necessary maintenance to support network. Repair wireless equipment. Administrative duties. Log tickets. Troubleshooting and problem-solving of customer issues. Hardware/software setup, repair, configure and troubleshoot. Coordinate the evaluation, installation, and support of corporate LAN environment including but not limited to IP PBX, routers, switches, firewall, server environment, DNS, and desktop hardware and software applications. Safety and Prevention planning and control. Deliver the services as required by SLAs. Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site. Identify opportunities to grow the business. Build, maintain, and improve client relationships. Adhere to quality standards. Office administration Collaboration with onsite members. Ensure employee compliance with all company policies. leave, claims, petrol cards, SHEQ, company asset usage, and more. Perform all relevant inspections. Your Expertise: Networking literacy (A+ and N+). Troubleshooting, finding, and tracing of networking. Wireless/ Telecoms experience (minimum 3 years). Function related experience: 3 years Leading teams: 3 years Project experience: 3 years Other experience: 3 years of Industrial Communication experience is non-negotiable. 3 years in Health and Safety. 3 years in installing and maintaining Solar and Battery backup systems. 3 years in IT (Microsoft Office 365 and basic network configuration). 3 years of relevant operational and management experience in business and IT Service Management. Qualifications Required: National Senior Certificate or equivalent A+, and N+ qualification. xc3x82 Minimum 3 years experience in Telecommunications and/or Information Technology. Preferred Qualifications: CCNA Understanding of wireless and digital radio terminology, underlying design, and best practices.
