Requirements
A relevant National diploma or higher in Information
Technology
Candidates with industry recognised Networking, Microsoft
Windows and Linux certifications will be given preference
Experience in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Red Hat, CentOs
and Ubuntu), virtual environments and server hardware
Experience in voice over IP technologies, including IP
Telephones, IP PBX, Session Border Controllers and SIP
Experience or sound knowledge of networking and firewalls,
including VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH and FTP
Minimum of two (2) years Information Technology industry
experience, including experience in end-user technical
support
Own vehicle and a valid Code B driver's licence Candidates must be prepared to work overtime and on
standby when required.
Key Performance Areas
Project management and operational support regarding voice
platforms and internet connectivity
Functional and technical support Draw up a technical system or network drawings under close
supervision
* Perform specific administrative functions
