Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for researching and developing new polymer-based products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring products meet performance and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to support the scale-up of new technologies. Your day-to-day tasks will involve formulating, testing, and analysing materials, interpreting experimental data, and staying up to date with industry trends to drive innovation.Education:
- Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in polymer development, coatings, adhesives, or related materials is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in laboratory testing and characterization techniques
- Conduct research and development on new and existing polymer-based products
- Formulate and test innovative materials to enhance product performance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance
- Analyze and interpret data to drive continuous improvement
- Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to patent applications where applicable
