Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to previous DRC Mining Week visitors using a provided call list.
Promote the upcoming event, highlighting key features such as dates, location, conference content, featured speakers, and new exhibition offerings.
Encourage contacts to register for their
free expo pass
or purchase a
conference delegate pass
.
Answer basic questions about the event and direct more complex queries to the appropriate team member.
Capture and update contact information, interest level, and feedback in the CRM or campaign tracker.
Meet daily and weekly call targets and registration goals.
Represent the DRC Mining Week brand professionally and confidently on every call.
Requirements:
Previous experience in telemarketing, customer service, or event promotion preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills in
English and French
(bilingual proficiency is essential).
Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in speaking with professionals across industries, including mining, energy, infrastructure, and government.
Comfortable using CRM tools and updating call notes accurately.
