Telesales Representatives in the food service industry responsible for increasing sales and revenue by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. They must be able to build relationships with customers, understand customer needs, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Contact potential customers through cold calls, watsup and emails
Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
Develop sales strategies to increase sales and revenue
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
Maintain customer records and update customer information in the customer database
Negotiate prices and increase the basket
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
Maintain current customers and look for new customers
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
Minimum Matric, Computer litracy in Excel, Word etc. Exp min 3 years in telesales.
Excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner, the ability to build relationships with customers, and the confidence to handle any objections or queries. You will also need to be self-motivated, target-driven and have a good understanding of the products and services you are selling. You should also have good problem-solving skills and be able to think quickly on your feet
