Contact person for this positionAmori PrinslooWebsite:My client in the frozen food industry is looking for the services of a Telesales person to join their team.REPORTS TO: Sales Team LeaderJOB PURPOSE: To grow and maximise turnover with existing and new customersDUTIES
- Call on customers or potential customers in order to grow sales and meet sales targets.
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
- Ensure all orders are processed and followed through to customer.
- Answer questions about the product or the company.
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
- Enter and update customers information on the database.
- Liaise with customers, production and dispatch to meet customer's request as far as possible.
- Go to the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales.
- Keep records of calls and note useful information.
- Attend weekly sales meetings to ensure communication regarding sales targets and sales focus areas.
- Liaise with the rest of the Sales team on problems encountered and devise solutions on areas of improvement.
- Do general task as directed by Sales Team leader
- Minimize wastage.
- Answer telephones offer to assist and take messages where necessary.
- Keep workstation neat and tidy.
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Good and interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure
- Be able to work well in a team
Salary R 13 000 + Commission
Commencement date ASAP
Location Olifantsfontein (Ekurhuleni Metropolitan)
